Sounds like a good quote. If a quote has been around for hundreds or thousands of years, it's probably true. If it's the outcome of post WW2 boomer culture, it should be perceived with scepticism.

Why is it a good quote? It doesn't make sense. if you had one day to live you wouldnt workout or work or eat healthy and if you did that every day you would end up in the gutter soon enough.
