so how does this happen

-be me, starved, dehydrated, no A/C, sleepless for 3 days, toes bleeding, knee inflamed badly, literally hallucinating, still manage to 100% concentrate

-be me again, well fed, in my room with fan, comfortable, relaxed, yet I can't study for longer than 30 seconds without concentration interrupted

Sleep is scam. Not sleeping also makes me 0 inhib 0 cortisol only focused on his objective bro, haven't slept for 2 nights aswell. had some clint eastwood typa charisma today thanks to it

Never forget how da vinci wouldn't let himself sleep for more than a few hours. coincidence?

I will take exams this saturday and sunday btw

also the flow state achieved by being very close to deadline is a crazy boost.

tbh skipping the first night of sleep is too much of a torture but after u break through its OK and u can make use of the extra time well

Im mostly worried about losing muscle mass when Im doing that

I think it has something to do with adenosine, it building up can cause a corresponding increase in dopamine. Also maybe homeostatic pressure of sleep, My happiest moments happen sometimes in sleep so maybe staying awake during this time helps you internalise those moments of pleasure more. I think its better to sleep and just upregulate those enzymes .
