Just write it down, and you'll be able to taper.

That is how I started writing back in the days: "Now I brush my teeth every 6.5 days, which is an improvement over 6.75"

and soon this spiraled into a Quickening of extravagant proportions.

So if you are drinking 5.0 liters a day, you just make the resolution to taper to 4.9 liters by December 31.

Well, what is your current intake, and your Taper Ambition.

If you feel reducing from 5.0 L to 4.9 L by 2025 is too hard, you just extend the deadline.

And say 4.9 L by 3025 (until you gather the energy to shorten the deadline, maybe even to Today).

Only real way to quit an addiction is to have a reason to quit, something to look forward to, something better.

Something that is worth quitting for

i  wouldn't beat yourself up over it tbh

wine is so ideal if you're an alcoholic. spirits will fuck you up too fast because it's impossible to pace yourself, lager or beer or whatever will just make you fat as fuck... + wine has antioxidants? idk

i like to go to the beach and drink a bottle while listening to something calming such as

and as far as i can discern, wine has had 0 impact on my health whatsoever. even one of my uncles who co-owns the plantation with my dad drinks two bottles a day, and he's fucking 70 with a full head of hair

drinking wine exclusively exempts you from the category of alcoholic

Addictions never fill the void for me. My life can't be all about wasting time, waiting impatiently until the next hit just to feel something
