I actually noticed nightmares can be worse if you sleep during the day.
There are 4 main quadrants: midnight, 6AM, noon, 6PM. So depending where you sleep, your sleep may carry different characteristics

Normal people *ME* sleep around the 6AM quadrant

I should add that those 4 points (noon etc) need to be astronomical noon etc.
So it could be that astronomical noon is 12:20 or for example 11:45 depending on the time of the year Meaning if you wake up at 11:59 and breathe a sigh of relief: "At least I didn't sleep around noon," true noon may still have been at 11:38

Being asleep mogs being awake, so afternoon naps are great. I wish I could take them

But generally people that discuss "Muh sleep" have nothing better to do.

I wouldn’t know seeing as I only sleep at night. This sort of question requires the assistance of a Lazy Liberal.
