I actually noticed nightmares can be worse if you sleep during the day.

There are 4 main quadrants: midnight, 6AM, noon, 6PM.

So depending where you sleep, your sleep may carry different characteristics

I should add that those 4 points (noon etc) need to be astronomical noon etc.

So it could be that astronomical noon is 12:20 or for example 11:45 depending on the time of the year



Meaning if you wake up at 11:59 and breathe a sigh of relief: "At least I didn't sleep around noon," 
true noon may still have been at 11:38
