The U.S. census counts Middle Eastern, north African populations as "white." 

Yet geographically and thus racially we consider them as "Western Asians" / "Africans," so they're not included in the total white population. Same goes for Turkish and a lot of Middle Eastern populations, much of whom are clearly white. Same applies to a lot of Latin American countries. They don't look white out of coincidence.

btw the demographic stats in argentina look more white than modern EU countries
