yeah, and completely unexpected for 100% of people. 

and the key to the trick is to keep talking to them with a straight (no offense) face, and even start cringing and jagging at them when they display anything resembling surprise, discomfort or cringe. that's when the situation reaches peak will ferrell comedy level.

it's difficult as fuck. so easy to make mistakes. it was an obligatory subject in my hs, and i kept making a bunch of mistakes on every single test despite being convinced i was well prepared every time

to get the syntax right and not sound like an utter forefinger, i guess. but it seems super easy just in terms of understanding what a person is saying, probably out of my depth though as i'm not even fluent in english

i mean yeah, if being capable of caveman tier communicacion means knowing a language to you (it does for 90% of normtards). but if you want to be decently literate and capable of expressing thoughts more nuanced than "i am 30 years old and i have yet to see a naked woman irl", it s extremely hard

here people switch languages all the time, including myself, and it's very normal to do it

this is for non-professional/non-work convos btw. obviously everyone maintains english when it comes to work related things.

it's quite common here to switch languages mid convo

for example, i would be talking with my friends in telugu/tamil/hindi and then i would switch to english midway and they would reply in the original and i would switch back to the original and they would reply in english

at least among my generation
