has any of you guys tried no shampoo

basically the idea is that shampoo rapes your hair and ur scalp and creates unnatural conditions, it's better off to wash your head with just cold water.

For me I've been washing my hair with just water for 20 days now and the issue I have is every time I shower my hair gets sticky as if I have clay or wax on my hair and this goes away only after a couple days when sebum returns to my hair. Otherwise my scalp feels healthier, I hope it goes away for good then maybe I'll consider going all in on no shampoo.

No shampoo is sumn i was on for a bit last year, and after a while my hair became very soft. but now im on my Elvis impersonator shit. so, its hair wax for me. (insert Travolta eating)

I just use an SLS-free & paraben-free shampoo and conditioner, and shampoo/condition my hair once a week at most

My main issue was flaky scalp and stopping shampoo for an extended period of time did nothing, if anything made it worse
