i realize large bodies of water contain stingrays and sharks, but floating around with the sun on your face is good for the soul. it's even possible with shitty lungs *perks of being white*

no, i prefer pools. and i dont have access to oceans anyway (nice flex, btw)

in the sea, i never go beyond the point where i can stand on the ground. way too scary.

i would be lying if i said it wasn't somewhat disconcerting, but at the same time it's kind of thrilling (in a good way) knowing you're that much closer to drowning or being stabbed by a stingray

closer to the shore is warmer anyway tbh... also you're never more than a 30 minute drive from a beach anywhere in new zealand *excluding the southern alps*
