I hadn’t consumed caffeine in over a week (I’ve done fasts before), when I go back to drinking it suddenly I can have two hour conversations with my boss and the secretary about literally everything from curling to cocaine and I don’t have to go and do work that I don’t want to do (aka babysitting two 30 year old women and a couple of autistic kids in their 20s)

Like I was just in the kitchen with my boss and secretary just now and we kept talking about useless topics for two hours past our break and nobody thought to themselves “time to go back to work.” This seems to happen after each time I break my caffeine fast, and I’m not even the one who necessarily initiates the topics of our convos
