without people discussing possible legal solutions for various problems (which arise all the time, because not even ultimate geniuses can reduce the complexity of life to 100-200 provisions so clear and easy to apply that the judges don't start developing double standards or worse when deciding in similar cases), laws would stay equally retarded forever. people writing academic papers usually have nothing to do with the legislative process. laws have to be analyzed and updated continuously, because they aren't being enacted for the sake of it, but to regulate certain social relations which are extremely dynamic in most fields. 9 out of 10 academic papers regarding law are just bullshit comparisons of foreign-domestic and/or previous-current laws made so some witless nerdcuck could fill his yearly quota required for maintaining a certain academic degree. without a bunch of jurists attacking each other in debates on certain legal solutions, you could easily be forced to give up all your assets to some shady NGO in an instant, for example, just because some illiterate fat retard who got into the parliament because he appealed to nationalist hillbillies voted so, without having a clue what he's being asked.

the law is a set of rules, and the study of law is studying that set of rules. unless you are a fucking autist, which you effectively are, it should be obvious to you that the legal system is an open one considering it's our tool for controlling and navigating civilized society on a day-to-day basis, and not some isolated study of specific pieces of rock in the lab, hence the direct and intense interaction with social relations and the necessity for its constant adaptation and rethinking.

am i supposed to get into explaining the hierarchy of formal sources of law, the role legal doctrine and judicial praxis play in it, the branches of government and a million other things you have no idea about to you now? just for you to write yet another pseudo-quirky one-liner that breaks down to you coping with being a failure of a man? just lol.
