comp sci/software engineering, we're already seeing massive layoffs. NVIDIA CEO discouraging kids to even learn it, saying that there will be no need for it in the future and ought to/rather specialize in fields like chemistry and biology. and why tf would anyone hire today's generation of comp sci students when much of them are cheating through their CS degree

"We should just stop training radiologists" - True. There's no point in having humans looking at images anymore. The AIs can see patterns that humans simply can't see.

For example, there is an AI for detecting problems in retinas. The AI can tell if a retina is from a male or a female body. Nobody had any idea that there were any differences between male and female retina... but clearly, there is a difference. It's just a difference humans can't see.
