You make some good points regarding your frustration with regards to work not leading to a fulfilling and satisfying life anymore. That is a result of people trying to overachieve and tire themselves out rather than efficiently trying to maximize the most output out of the work they put in.
And besides, the problems you talk about are rooted deep with -- censorship, poor self awareness, and poor government spending and mismanagement -- all of their mistakes being levied on the citizens at the end of the day. It requires political action and actively raising your voice against it. It is a collective effort. You're not gonna change anything by staying quiet about the current economic climate and not showing up to work.
