In terms of what AI does for the workplace, people lose sight of the following.
Jobs are a means, not an ends. If the task can be achieved without workers, that is good news.
Automation creates unspent income, and it's true unspent income creates unemployment.
But that is good news for workers a.k.a. freeloaders: now the government can spend even more, to offset robotic productivity.
