2030 is referring to AGI, which would be general intelligence instead of each cognitive arrow that is being shoved into the public for now
I'm a cosmist myself (it means supporter of AI) but artificial brains are not in high gear yet.
Some say the latter half of the 20th century is when AI becomes an existential threat.
I was hoping more like 2045 so we can have full-immersion video games etc.
At least that was my thinking when I was a basement dweller
