They don't, let's take the example of iPhone 11 which I just used in my car to play a french rap tune.

Originally this phone was just "a bucket of raw materials."

Now, do you prefer to have the bucket of raw materials instead? No! You like and enjoy the new configuration of matter, where raw materials became a smartphone.

So this means new wealth was created. So next time you see a rich person, don't assume he stole someone's money, maybe he Created New Wealth.
