The universe began when a seed began perturbing the ether. When an event happens a path is cut through the ether. This path is clogged and ether flows along it. This causes events to repeat forever as they get stuck on a clogged path.
The universe exists to maximize disorder. If events are random then the world we live in is rare. Instead hexagons produced through organic chemistry make events deterministic and favor life. The universe is a hexagon copying itself.
