My distant relatives (Jews) were at the mall today.
They were a group and I identified them as Israeli Jews since one of them was wearing a kippah and looked Ashkenazi.
They were leaving the mall just as I came in.

I said shalom swiftly and one of them grinned and said shalom back.
They were in a hurry and My group was getting late for our movie too, so we just went our own ways.
Not the first time I’ve met Israeli Jews but yeah it’s quite rare to see them in My city.
