why don't redditors have friends?

LPT: The easiest time to make friends in your life is in your teens or early 20's - usually School. It becomes exponentially harder later in life. The more friends, even casual ones, you can make in this time of life, the better chance you'll have enough friends in your 30's and 40's (and beyond)

And I 100% am sure when a redditor says 'friend' they don't mean like actual/close friendship, someone with which you can confide anything in, have deep convos with, etc. They mean someone with whom you can discuss the latest Marvel film or exchange fedora-hat-making-tips. They don't make the distinction of fake vs real friend because they're not actually real themselves.

weird, because I would assume the opposite. I see "redditors" everywhere. Logically, they'd have a much easier time making friends, with so many people sharing their semi-niche interests and worldview.

my guess would be that you would have to not only a "redditor" but have bottom 5% social skills, cortisol levels, confidence levels ect to be an active reddit poster. Like the weirdest non mentally disabled kid in a high school classroom
