I've wondered this many times when younger. I think the Vatican is just too OP and many politicians are religious themselves so they can't do anything

Most churches in the US are getting a 501 tax exemption and to maintain that status they can’t deviate too far from what the government wants them to do or say. When was the last time you saw a church leader advocate for overthrowing the US govt? Yet the Z-controlled US is the whore of babylon.
