- lower left half of the diagonal in figure 1 stays intact in row 1, rotates around the centre 45° clockwise in row 2 and 90° in row 3
- upper right half rotates clockwise by 45° x 2/4/6/8/10/12/14
- identical shapes - identical colors

- figure with no triangle in it - grey
- triangles touching lower left corners of squares are red/orange
- little squares and circles denote figures that are identical if rotated
