people always say shit like this but I dont see it without a very large and sudden breakthrough coming out of nowhere
the current approach to ai is just going down the wrong path entirely imo
it will be like flying cars - both your typical person's vision of the future and what the forward looking companies are trying to sell you are so far removed from how things will actually be
it's ironic that ai (widely regarded as the pillar of the future) is mostly a scam, whereas blockchain (widely regarded as mostly a scam) is actually a feasible improvement to many of our current systems
Blockchain is expensive man, it’s yeah transparent neutral whatever but it’s very expensive to maintain and deploy.
Economic factors are #1 reason we aren’t a colony on Mars already
Not really, it's just being held back by questions around regulation
Mars colony is pretty infeasible with our current technology but it's mainly being held back by there being no real incentive to do it. It's kinda pointless
