true love exists, but it can only happen between 2 sufficiently attractive and self-actualized individuals (whose lives don't break down to desperately trying to replace their partner with someone better over and over again), so it's not surprising that everyone in this thread is cynical and dismissive of it being real

you guys must be living under a rock if you don't know a bunch of happily married couples that stayed together for years or decades without any cheating-related issues; "I'm a subhuman loser who can't get supermodel girls to commit to me and love me unconditionally, therefore true love is impossible!" - sour grapes par excellence
