imagine working for a paypal call centerĀ
listening to a guy for 30 minutes to try and get you to see his side of the story, and then having the power to rule for/against them in the dispute. the guidelines for this stuff used to be a lot less stringent, it was sort of a game of who the other person on the line was. i don't think anyone uses paypal anymore, though
people who work at call centers are basically gods, and we're at their mercy
