I am depressed. I just want to preface this by saying I have been on OnlyFans since I was 24.
What used to give me a thrill is now just dead and gone. There is no more shock factor/value to what I do, it's all been done before, and many times even more provocatively than me. Getting flooded with comments about how gorgeous and sexy I am all day does nothing to me anymore. The money is still coming in but I get nothing from validation anymore, and in turn I find also that my drive to produce more creative content has fizzled down.
Being a content creator fulfilled two main purposes for me. One was of course the money. But the other was the endless stream of validation I'd get. But the latter means nothing if I have no emotional connection to the comments coming my way.
Should I just write it off as being depressed, disillusioned and there is no going back from here? I'll still do what I do because it's obviously my only source of income.
