I’ve been NEET for nearly six months now. I’ve been looking for a job, though not particularly hard until the past few. It’s a lot less stressful and I’ve had much more time to write, but at this point I’m ready to be a wagie again especially because I want to make money and get health insurance for my surgery and am not spending my own time all that productively anymore.

This is straight up low-IQ. If you can't find anything interesting to do, then why not work? Especially if comparing yourself to others makes you feel all sad. There's no excuse for stagnating as a NEET, seeing as you have all the free time in the world
