I believe that all people whose ancestral collective trauma is something defining of their culture, tend to puff things up as much as possible. Like, I haven't gone through the data, but I wouldn't be surprised if the 6m figure is far from real, but you can't really object it, obviously. That'd be holocaust denialism and antisemetism. But who cares anyways. If people want to portray themselves as the ultimate victims then let them be.
