gives a good insight into how the nazi policy of extermination came about. i liked the accurate depictions & the way they didn't try and undermine how much these people hated jews & wanted them gone. it was fascinating how the 'good guy characters' (every movie needs someone to root for), were only 'good' because they were juxtaposed with comically evil psychopaths; but the movie ultimately stayed true to history
for a movie that's just a bunch of people sitting in a room, i would give it an 8/10
to the nazis credit, the jews had all been deemed enemies of the state; i.e. can't work (aside from slave labor), join the army, or be a part of society in general... and the question of what to do with them was pretty hard to answer (looking at this from the perspective of a 1943 bondafide nazi)
what would you have done?
hindsight is 2020, but i think the best option for the germans would've been to treat them as equals & deal with them later.... but i guess that undermines the foundational principle of how this all came about. maybe some simulations in the future will have the answers
