mac filter is easy to bypass n op probably has an old ass router without that functionality idk
no it's not and even if they are smart enough to spoof the mac address it will conflict with the real mac address which will cause the owner to investigate.
how will it conflict with the real address if u spoofed ur mac address? iirc u can make it so it doesnt revert back to old address after rebooting, n most modern os have mac address randomization enabled by default for security reasons
when you spoof your mac address to bypass mac filtering you need to spoof to a mac address that is on the filter list which means when the router gets 2 connections with the same mac address it will cause network errors which will cause you internet issues which will cause you to look in your router's logs and see that someone is trying to mac spoof to bypass the filter
