you need to understand that mental illness and fetishes are culturally relative concepts, essentially they are completely made up. the moral values of the society in queston determine what normal sexual desires and behaviour are, and this has already swayed in favour of lgbtq+ (in relevant nations, no one cares about third world shitholes)

being so dismissive of desire and identity, two of the most salient aspects of the human conditon, is just not a very insightful approach here
