What I take issue is resentment against those who have a natural advantage is some field. That's why I said in an older thread: If you are a nerd, it's smart to befriend the jock and vice versa.
top grade students are most of the time competitive by nature (I was never a top of the class student)
idk why you are struggling so much to get this, it shouldn't be that hard, good students can be hateful pricks too
