mirin. do you think this makes you more or less of a patriot? i've watched 2 games of my national team outside with the retards (1 football, 1 handball) and/or my friends in my life; all the others i've watched completely alone in my room, because it's such an emotionally intense experience for me. when we beat brazil in qatar, i fell asleep at like 6 PM, when the penalty shootout ended, without any pills or alcohol; i was just that exhausted despite barely moving for 2.5 hours before that. i think i lost 2 kg that afternoon.

the semis in russia were the same. despite us having a phenomenal generation, when trippier scored, knowing the pedigree of basically everyone on england's roster, i kind of gave up hoping we could advance. the remainder of the match is history (even though i enjoyed sticking it to brazilian gypsies despite being inferior much more). 

if a random was here that night when we scored in extra time and when the judge whistled for the end, they d think there is a 7.3 earthquake happening at the centre of zagreb.
