Church is boring

the microphones they use in the churches have a ridiculously blurry echo - it's done on purpose I believe

so even if you could understand the psalms in the ancient language, you can't hear the words well enough for it to be meaningful

also standing up still for 1hr+ gives me panic attack every time no exception, it's a physical struggle to attend liturgy

maybe theyre trying to replicate the way old large church choir acoustics used to sound
