the reason i mention self-cutters is cuz dats a similar mechanism, but far more passive
basically, these kinda people are chasing highs where they can bring their brain into a state where it is forced to accept the horrible truth dat "narcissism won" and then dat feels "good" cuz their minds are desperately trying to recall the opposite truth, trying to make sth bad into sth right
but these brainlets then push dat even further into "not only has narcissism won, but it has won maximally and feels amazing"
meanwhile what narcissism really feels like: themselves
most anxious, miserable, depressed people ever who addict themselves to tasting the blood of sth fresh to feel young again, fooling themselves they are predators, meanwhile they're turning themselves into easy targets for everyone else, who are still sane enough to choose justice over egotistical solipsistic pseudo-intellectual instant gratification
