watched the first half of the first season. it's a bit slow, tbh.... but that's probably due to budget constrains & trying to get the most use out of historically accurate set pieces (read somewhere this is super expensive)


i'm getting pretty into black sails tho

gets spectacular later, probably in my top 2 shows ever

black sails are elite too. not to spoil it to you ...
 some mindblowing fucking scenes in surreal locations for sure
