My teenage years were so wasted...

All I'm trying to do is make up for my teenage years, in which I didn't do anything of worth, didn't pay attention to anything except rap music, no seriousness, solitude, no clarity of mind.
What bothers me most is that I wasnt aware of Mishima. If you do not read Mishima in your youth, it is truly a wasted youth.
