Redditors/midwits are incapable of independent thought. Every single bad cultural practice is perpetuated by this block of the population. Imagine being so feeble minded you have self doubt about whether Jackson pillock was a hack or not. They will go to great lengths coping and making up excuses for why what he did actually took skill and technique...but also art isn't about that apparently.. Aka they have no standards apart from what muh experts, authority figures, and other midwits decide for them at any moment in time. Watch as they do a 180 when a bigger redditor comes around with a more fashionable cope 
Or their favorite go-to when they get caught in a conundrum: "errm it's very complex,there's a lot of nuance to the issue" aka "im incapable of making judgements on my own, let me delegate that to the hive mind and pretend i'm not a mindless fool"
You are very dumb if at any point in your life you decided against something because "but dumb working class people believe that" or filter your thoughts based on "what would neil degrease Tyson or bill nye think about it?"
