 ego death
#11
it happens naturally when certain brain regions receive stimuli and communicate in an atypical manner. can be directly caused by lysergic acid or psilocybin, though it can also emerge from traumatic events or predisposition to mental disorders . the best way to describe it is a feeling of utter mental instability followed by a fear of losing yourself, and then the collapsing of your typical cognitive means to place a barrier between "yourself" and "everything else" .
