I got a place to live now that's habitable where I'm not being extorted or threatened and all I can think about is how many years of my life I've wasted drinking to cope with not having the bare minimum requirement for self actualization 

I'm buying a harmonica and an electric keyboard next week, that's money that I otherwise would have spent on drugs and alcohol

Marinating your liver and listening to the same shitty song over and over while coping about how you're going to change your life is peak subhuman

At least you're going to the gym now, I guess

you still have plenty of time for self-actualization, btw. not that you are 48.
