Yeah it is a bit dumb.
My accountant tried to get me into it. She said, let me buy your tax consulting services for $10,000. Next, you give me $9,800 back.
I will then claim that I have 10k expenditures and therefore need to pay less tax.
And the $200 difference is your fee for the money laundering.
I had to tell her off: "That sounds illegal to me young lady."
