I don't think that my question is that insane tbh, he asked me to be at my place for a couple of days because he needs somewhere to stay. i am not very wealthy or anything, just upper middle class i guess with very rich grandparents

I don't live in my home country, I am in a C tier country in Europe because of my job and I can't completely trust the banks over here tbh, gotta have some physical money just in case, I also have a few grams of gold.
