I guess maths requires a brain totally dedicated and in love with the mathematical process above everything else, similar to how an artist needs to be totally in love with his projects. It's not enough to just be good at math. Or it is, if your main goal is to become a high school teacher.

#1 reason i decided to drop that shit. i know way too many "intelligent" guys with a thing for math who ended up teaching 8 yos how to add and multiply 2-digit numbers. no fucking thanks
