Yeah my father got Type 2 Diabetes from eating too much sugar (cola, cakes, cookies, chocolate , ice cream etc) for many years while he lived in Sweden. When living in Sweden its easy to become addicted to eating sugar because of the weather, its cold n dark most of the year so you become depleted in serotonin/Seasonal depression and you start having sugar cravings. Thats why people in northern countries consume so much sugar, they are addicted to sugar because of the weather n climate that effects their serotonin, giving them Seasonal Affective Depression
