i can equally claim that everything is a product of the environment. if we took a metaphorical hammer to the nucleus of each of your cells it wouldn't matter what they started out like in the beginning. 
the idea that you are born with a set of unalterable characteristics that can't be influenced by any force in the universe is laughably ridiculous and you should feel like a retard for believing this

genes and environment are mutually reinforcing, the dichotomy between nature and nurture really shouldn't exist. it should just all be referred to as phenotype. genetic outcomes have an immediate effect on the so called "environment", while environmental changes to genetics occur on a much larger time scale as to make immeasurable outside of tens of thousands of years. thus genetics is literally responsible for everything you know and understand including your potential descendants for the next ten thousand years.

this why you can describe non genetic things within genetic constraints

i'm sorry you're too low iq/brown to understand this concept
