Is it tangible because you're able to touch it? You aren't able to touch it, with how physics works there is just a vague cloud of particles and no 2 objects ever "touch." If that's not how things work then why are your senses to be trusted?
i can see and feel the effects being described and make inferences that are predictable and repeatable, i can benefit directly from it. philosophy is a best an inferior and older form of science with far less rigorous standards. how has philosophy benefited anyone?
