theists attempting to claim ownership over metaphysical concepts

sometimes, the highest iq way of approaching theism is to accept it without question, because for 100k years humans had religion. only in the last 50 years or so did atheism become cool or something. the likelihood of atheists who only existed for 50 years being right is pretty much nil.

religion represents the idea that reality is too complex for us to understand, therefore we need to rely on time tested concepts that have NEVER BEEN DISPROVEN by more modern methods of science and philosophy

so we existed for gorillion years but only started developing things in the last 6k years?
