are we really supposed to be in awe of someone whose peak debating skill was ambushing random students with in-advance-prepared namedropping and shapiro tier fact-cherrypicking? i dont think so

not in awe but at least give him some credit

he was debating students on the exact topics they were lectured on (from what I've USA university curriculums often contain classes about race, equity, social justice, and history of minorities) and made almost everybody look like an idiot. He was obviously not just some well-read midwit, he was a a naturally talented debater/public speaker.
