i think it’s more a feeling of being left out, being unable to relate to common experiences of other people
when there’s something you want that some people can achieve so effortlessly, even those younger than you, and you still can’t get it, it just feels humiliating
similar to being poor, in that way, except less people are rich than non-virgin, so virginity is definitely more painful
