in my 3 hours of sleep tonight I had a dream about you ranting in your characteristic accent after someone called bourdain a "man of the masses" and without interrupting you I thought to myself "to ask josh about bourdain is like to ask the nazis about jews"

Anthony has the same affliction a lot of drug addicts do. They try and live in the moment and romanticize the little things in life to cope with the fact they're dead inside

This only works temporarily, as soon as they get a bit bitter or face some problem the illusion is shattered and they realize they're a husk destined to be miserable
