why rejection hurt so much

its not funny but i easily spiral in negative thinking (thinking too many of many angles) so not being good and direct in communication is something that drains me. i was thinking 'ok shes just lying and does not want to see me' at that point, then she sent the pic of where she was and i thought 'i fked up'

this is one incident maybe its not a pattern. anyways if she says she wishes u die maybe better not to talk to her now thats a bit severe.
