one of the reasons men might do that is idealization, to idealize a chatbot is easy for its ever-tailored to someones will. those popular 'harem animes' that border on hentai are exploiting that, and have been for so long. its sad but the female figure as a thing should not be idealized, not that someone should not have standards or a type, but idealization is simply self-defeating when it comes to the other (people)
